LETTER OF INTENT

KEY CLUB
There will be a Key Club meeting Wednesday, 3/17, in Ms. Edwards’s room at 3:20. Please be prompt; this meeting will be brief.
2010 PROM
The Junior class of Loris High School proudly announces this year's prom theme: Tonight's Gonna Be a Good Night. The prom is scheduled for March 26th from 8PM-11PM at Ocean Drive Resort. The colors are black, silver, and hot pink. LHS prom tickets will go back on sale Thursday, March 4th and Friday, March 5th during both lunches. Tickets will also be on sale in Mrs. Vescovi's room after school on Thursday until 4PM. Ticket prices will be $40 each. PRIOR to purchasing a ticket, all fees owed must be cleared with Mrs. Causey. Also, prior to purchasing a guest ticket, a parental permission form must be completed. Permission forms are available under FORMS on the web site. Only juniors and seniors are allowed to purchase tickets. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Cox or Mrs. Vescovi.

There are prom picture price packet forms in the front office at LHS. If you plan on getting on pictures made, please stop by for a price sheet.

MISS LHS
The Miss LHS pageant has been postponed to April 22. There will be a new pageant format. Contestants can compete for only $35. Grades 9-12 will compete in interview, casual wear and evening gown competition to be Miss Freshman, Miss Sophomore, Miss Junior or Miss Senior. If you want to be Miss LHS, compete in interview, talent, casual wear and evening gown. There will be a meeting soon to give out applications and answer questions! Make this year a year you won’t forget! Applications are available now and will be due on March 26
SUNTRUST Scholarship
High school seniors can win a $1,000 scholarship for their first year expenses at a college or private career school. One winner will be chosen every two weeks from October 30, 2009 through May 14, 2010.
Students can begin registering September 14, 2009, and the first drawing will be held October 30, 2009.
